I believe that the decisive actions undertaken by the United States of America together with Israel against the regime of the ayatollahs led by Ali Khamenei are a legitimate response of the international community to years of destabilization and support for terrorist structures.

The war in Ukraine is entering its fifth year – but according to Ruslan Bortnik, director of the Ukrainian Institute of Politics, the biggest obstacle to peace isn't on the battlefield. It's in the calculations of political elites.

(VOVWORLD) - Ce mardi 24 février marque le quatrième anniversaire du déclenchement du conflit russo-ukrainien, la plus importante opération militaire en Europe depuis la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Quatre ans après le début des hostilités, la perspective d’un règlement de paix durable reste incertaine et semée d’embûches.

Il y a quatre ans, le 24 février 2022, la Russie lançait une «opération militaire spéciale» contre l’Ukraine, au terme de plusieurs années de tensions aiguës liées à des différends stratégiques en matière de sécurité et d’équilibres géopolitiques.

Ne è convinto il direttore dell'Ukrainian Institute of Politics, Ruslan Bortnik, che in un'intervista all'AGI, in vista del quarto anniversario dell'invasione russa il 24 febbraio, analizza l'impatto del primo anno dell'amministrazione Trump sul conflitto. Secondo la Missione Onu di monitoraggio dei diritti umani in Ucraina (Hrmmu), nel 2025 2.514 civili sono stati uccisi e 12.142 feriti: +31% rispetto al 2024 e +70% sul 2023.
