The process of assisting Ukraine allies continues to become more complicated - now President V. Zelensky's team needs to convince world leaders that this aligns with their national interests. However, achieving this goal is becoming increasingly difficult as the number of global crises increases.
In connection with the adoption of the new version of the Law of Ukraine "On Credit Unions" and the World Day of Credit Cooperation, a round table meeting was held on October 19, 2023 in the building of the Institute of Economics and Forecasting of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and on its platform: "Credit unions for military personnel - urgent the need of the Army!"
Over the past week, no significant territorial changes have occurred at the front. In the Donetsk region, Russian troops increased pressure on the city of Avdiivka, trying to encircle the city. Still, within a few days, the fighting there moved into the stage of small-scale infantry assaults and slowed down, just like on the Zaporizhzhia front.

An auxiliary attack across the river is also possible. Dnieper in the Kherson region and intensifying the offensive in the area of Bakhmut.
On September 20, 2023, a round table was held in the conference hall of the National Hotel (Kyiv, Ukraine) on the topic: “Countering disinformation and media bullying as a tool for protecting human rights: external and internal threat factors during the time of Russian aggression against Ukraine.” The discussion took place on the initiative of the Assembly of Nationalities of Ukraine.
Preparations are underway for the meeting of the United States and Ukraine Presidents - Joe Biden and Vladimir Zelensky, which is scheduled for September 21 on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. The administration of US President D. Biden can use V. Zelensky’s visit to put pressure on Congress regarding the decision to allocate $24 billion in additional assistance to Ukraine (the White House did the same in December 2022).
The Ukrainian Institute of Politics, together with the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and other partners, held a conference on September 14, 2023, titled "Artificial Intelligence: Challenges and Opportunities for Ukraine."
