The visit of Mr. Ruslan Bortnik political scientist at IFAT

On 21 March, 2023, the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade (IFAT) hosted Mr. Ruslan Bortnik Ukrainian political scientist, President of the Ukrainian Institute for Politics. The closed-door panel was led by Tamás Baranyi, Deputy Director of IFAT, and was attended only by resident fellows of IFAT. During the conversation, the present state of the Russian invasion against Ukraine, the results of diplomatic and military efforts, as well as the possible future scenarios of the war were discussed. Alongside the academic discussion, the parties also agreed to maintain and develop the relationship between their respective institutions.
