Oksana Belyakova

Oksana Belyakova is a historian, journalist, and political commentator.

Her first University degree is in history (Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University). She completed her postgraduate studies at the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" in political science. She also earned a master's degree in journalism at the Catholic University of Lublin.

Since the early 1990s, she has worked as a Polish-Ukrainan and Polish-Russian translator for businesses and international organizations.

In 2003 she completed an internship with the Polish-American Freedom Foundation. She has a large organizational and consulting experience in political activities.

Oksana Belyakova has worked at the Central Museum of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Kyiv office of the Polish Academy of Sciences, banking institutions, and media outlets. She has collaborated with a number of Ukrainian and foreign publications, television channels, and radio stations.

Oksana Belyakova was the author and host of the program “Anatomy of Life” on the Radio Hayat (Kyiv) and is the author of a number of analytical articles in the Kyiv Post.

Oksana Belyakova is a native Ukrainian and Russian speaker, and speaks fluently Polish.
